Burt feeds his extra heart with the blood of pigs.  Cade confronts his secretive would-be benefactor in a bizarre virtual reality encounter.  Max’s nightmare continues, and he finds that his brother has stolen his mother’s jewelry and her will to live.

Our adventurers clear the mine, but find that the forest spirit has left.  Bodvarr calls on Tyr to guide the group in the next steps of its quest.
