ARDUINO NANO PID-CONTROLLER FOR LAMINATOR
Arduino nano PID-controller (thermostat) for laminator machine. I need to rise laminator temperature and slow down feeder to produce decent PCB toner transfers for DIY projects (mostly flight simulator based). Working (not fully tweaked) setup here.
Original laminator (Hama Basic L47A), mechanic thermostats (KSD301) managed temperature to 105-120 ºC range. For decent toner transfers adequite temperature is about 140-150 ºC
Arduino Nano, temperature feedback with 4k7 NTC (Vishay NTCLE100E3478) thermistor. Calibration made with https://www.thinksrs.com/downloads/pr... to resolve Steinhart-Hart and Hart Coefficients for temperature calculations.
Temperature setting with Rotary Encoder, push button toggles feeder sequenser, to slow down feeding speed. Heating element and feeder motor are driven with 2 Relay card, the circuitry protected with flyback diodes.
Control parameter are going to be tweaked, when new laminator assembly have been made.
