In today's chapter, Alec Wilson finds that maybe it's not such a bad thing taking on a wife and baby, that loneliness really is overrated, though deep down he still seems to question whether it's what he wants.

What happens to the family left behind to pick up the pieces of a tragic suicide? That is the question that haunted me the day I heard of a kid from my own community who'd used a shotgun to kill himself in his apartment, and thus this story was born. It gets heavy, but as in all of my writing, there is a silver lining and a happy ending no matter how unorthodox.
