How do 6 figure business owners get their BEST clients...
who pay the most money
...without being a pain in the ass?
A good business needs good clients.
One of the main mistakes business owners make, especially early on, is working with the wrong people.
I see this happening all the time, in fact, it happens with most business owners.
In this 46 minute conversation I talk to 3 experts to find out
What to sell is a very common question that people often ask when getting into business. The right answer to that is that it does not really matter. You can sell almost everything.
Jester: I had a hard time doing sales at the beginning. I was not very good at closing people. That is why I decided to make a change. I made a lot of changes in my funnel. With the time I started getting more clients on calls. I became more confident talking those people and started getting more and more sales.
I knew that I had the confidence to close many clients. I started approaching bigger clients and bigger companies, started charging more for my service and that made a huge impact in my life. I was able to live on my own terms.
I was able to automate my process better. I have been hiring people from freelance platforms which can take the workload off from me and that way I had more time to focus on the more important stuff.
There is a huge difference between clients from freelance platform, referrals and clients from other funnels.
I started selling to high end clients, but I had very hard times reaching out to them. It takes a lot of time to close this kind of people, especially if you are not really good at sales. That is why I did another funnel that had helped me a lot to close these people.
When you are speaking with a potential client for the first time is very special. It takes a little bit of time to build trust between you and the client. Trust is the main factor that you need to acquire in order to make a successful sale. If there is no trust, there is no way that the client can believe you and believe in your product. If they do not believe, there is no chance that they can buy. How come can you buy something if do not need it?
It is very different with referrals, because you have already built trust in someone who has praised your skills in someone else’s eyes. It is much easier to close someone who knows that you will deliver a quality product or service. There is less competition.
• What is your procedure when the client asks you in the first 15 minutes of the call about your price?
You can make a website where you can store your portfolio, past experience and feedback from previous clients. You can also include your prices there, so that people can see how much you charge.
You have to ask questions to your clients. Find out whether they have money or not. See if they will be long term clients or short term clients. Always, give preference to long term clients.
Here are a few questions that you can ask your client in order to see if they are qualified to work with you:
• What do you see in our future relationship?
• Are you looking for a quick one time project or are you looking for a long term lasting relationship?
• What is your business?
• How much revenue do you make?
• How many employees do you have?
Just by asking these questions they are going to understand that you are in control of what happens, you are the expert and you are going to give them as much value as possible. They will have the advantage of taking expert advice.
