How should we live in light of Christ's return? We examine Peter’s final words to the church about God's judgement, the certainty of his promises, and our call to holy living. Discover how the hope of a new heaven and new earth should motivate us to grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ, even as we navigate a world that often scoffs at his return.

How does God balance justice and mercy? In 2 Peter 2:4–22, God brings justice to those who perpetuate false gospels while offering salvation to those who hold fast to the gospel of Jesus. This message challenges us to consider our own lives and faith, urging us to trust in God’s ultimate plan of rescue and recompense.

As the church starts to wane in their faith, Peter reminds them of the trustworthiness of the apostles’ testimonies about Christ and warns them of false prophets and false teachings. When we struggle with our faith, Pastor Quentin reminds us that we know God is involved in the world because he has spoken to us through scripture.

At the beginning of Peter’s second letter, we are told how God has done all that it takes for us to participate in his divine nature. Pastor Quentin reminds us that God's grace empowers us to strive for godliness, and out of this new nature and new love for God comes fruitfulness for the kingdom.
