In Episode 20 of the 4NPs Podcast, we talk to Alex Yacco. Alex graduated in 2019 with her FNP, and has been a urology nurse practitioner for a little over one year. She has been a nurse for 10 years, having worked in different settings including the operating room. She is an immigrant from Colombia who moved to this country when she was 16 years old. She is a proud mom to an amazing 2 year old and an amazing husky puppy. On this episode, Alex shares how she has been navigating her new role in urology and how she manages to work as a team with all of the providers and staff in her office.
