“You can die from someone else’s misery — emotional states are as infectious as diseases. You may feel you are helping the drowning man but you are only precipitating your own disaster. The unfortunate sometimes draw misfortune on themselves; they will also draw it on you. Associate with the happy and fortunate instead.” Get The 48 Laws Of Power here.

My aim is to create an engaging succinct audio summary of the book that exemplifies each of the laws observance's and transgressions. This book is centred around power and human behaviour which some interpret as, manipulation, thus it is a controversial book to some. A lot hate it, a lot love it. I believe the most important thing in any new-found knowledge or idea is keeping an open mind. There is a lot of value in the idea's Greene discusses and this book will teach you that it is better to be aware of the malevolence around you then stay ignorant.
