December 31, 2020The Ballad of the Harp-Weaver by Edna St. Vincent Millay - Read by Elliot Randall WoodThis is the fifth and final episode in our run of Christmas themed topics, and is also the final podcast of 2020. This week's episode is a reading of the poem The Ballad of the Harp-Weaver by Edna St. Vincent Millay, written in 1922.I first heard this poem recited by the great American wizard Eugene Burger, who would use this poem during seances. Sadly Eugene Burger died on the 8th of August 2017 and so this episode is dedicated to him. Eugene Burger's work has been an inspiration to all at Alexander Maberry's Museum of Strange Things and indeed forms the foundation of much that we do.We hope you enjoy this rendition of the poem and we'd like to wish all our listeners a happy and peaceful New Year. You can visit the museum's website by going to maberrysmuseum.com.Intro Music: Alexander Nakarada (www.serpentsoundstudios.com).Image: Vincent Wright on Unsplash....more7minPlay
