What kind of platform is Threads, really?

First, we need to make a clear distinction: Threads is not a platform for adult content. It doesn't have this label that other platforms explicitly display. This is a place where users are encouraged to post messages, to share their thoughts and ideas, not to expose the most intimate and provocative moments of their lives. So how come, instead of normal posts, the app suggested images or messages with clearly explicit content to me?
