Everybody has known disappointments, setbacks and suffering. The pain of defeat and insecurity reminds us that we need the Savior, Jesus! We have access to all the resources of heaven as believers in Jesus. Pastor Steve walks us through the ways we can appropriate all that God has for us. The times we live in are messy. We are experiencing chaos, hatred, fear, confusion; we struggle with insecurity, anxiety and more. God desires to restore and renew our lives through the power of the Holy Spirit. Today Pastor Steve uncovers the wonders of what we can do to take control of our thoughts and replace them with truth. There is a problem for many of us: we lack trust, and we are cynical – we may say, as soon as God meets my need, I will give. What comes first? According to God’s Word: (1) if you give (2) then you will receive. It DOES NOT teach us to (1) If you receive (2) then you give. But we think: God you go first then I will give!? Today Pastor Steve brings the amazing truth of trusting God with what is already His. Our God lavishes us with His blessings, so that in turn we will be a blessing to others. When we have the heart of the Father, we give generously as His sons and daughters.

Our unity needs to be our distinctive trait as believers. We are always better together! Our unity brings us strength. Together we can accomplish so much more, and alone there is so much less we can do. Pastor Steve inspires us to fulfill our assignment to participate, sacrifice, and serve. As we remember what Jesus made available to us, we together can serve the world for the glory of God.

God’s grace reveals an understanding that our spiritual and emotional health begin when we stop preforming and proving ourselves and when we trust and rely on the Lord! Our salvation is God’s gift to us and like any gift, we need to receive it. Pastor Steve speaks a word that reveals the heart of the Father, His love for us and revelation of our motivation in giving.

There is a significant increase in stresses: anxieties because of the virus, reports resurging and receding, economics, protests, anger, hate, huge fears that are testing all of us and our relationships. Pastor Steve shows us the powerful tools we have in the Word, through worship, and in prayer by the power of the Holy Spirit. When we appropriate the resources we have, we see amazing miracles released in and through our lives.

Genuine love requires openness with another. Many times we are afraid we are going to be rejected, hurt, or misunderstood, etc. When you love, you take a risk, and sometimes your heart may be hurt and even broken. The Word of God tells us to widen our heart. Pastor Steve leads us into possibilities. It’s worth the risk; it’s worth it to see what God can do in our openness.

The Word of God in 1 Chronicles 16 has the goal to encourage God’s stressed out people! The people then much like today, were overwhelmed with all that needed to be done with all the happened. God loves us! Today Pastor Steve shows us through the Word that God has always cared for His people. We are the people called by God; we are His children, and our home us found in Him.

We can overcome the tendency to give up, hide, and let fear hold us back from the mission of Christ. We do not have to let a crisis fade our passion for the Lord.
