Our God is tender hearted, moved with compassion as He looks upon   humanity. (Loving, merciful grace) Psalm 103

Multitudes of people are hurting, weary, scattered, searching for deliverance from a life of misery. (Lost)

These multitudes of lost people are God’s field of harvest. (Mission)

Laborers are still needed! (Willingness) “…Who will go for Us?” Isaiah 6:8

We must begin with prayer! (Empowered by God the Holy Spirit)

What do we learn from this passage?

Like Matthew, we are called to follow Jesus. (Dedication)

Like Matthew, we are to be comfortable with Jesus in our homes and among family and friends! (Witness)

Unlike the Pharisees, we are to look upon all people with mercy while being mindful of our own sinfulness and God’s mercy in our lives! (Grace)

Real men honor God and acknowledge Him as our loving, merciful, forgiving, heavenly Father. (Humility)

Like the disciples, we are to bring our brokenness, confusion, fears, and pain to the Lord Jesus. (Prayer)

We are to entrust our all (Past, Present, and Future) to the Lord Jesus. (Glory to God)
