Proverbs 11:28 “Those who trust in their riches will fall, but the righteous will thrive like a green leaf.”
Proverbs 24:3 “With wisdom a house is built; and it is established firmly”
We have to understand what money can and can’t do.
Proverbs 25:28- “A city that is broken, with no walls, is like a man who is not restrained in his spirit”
We can’t let our spending become the reason that we are excluded from God’s plan.
Matthew 11:28-30 says 28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give
you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest
for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
3 Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of
God. 2 Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. Colossians 3:1-2
Money is not satisfaction or security because Christ is both of those things for you! [2]
