For so long forgiveness has represented you relieve someone of their guilt and you move on, and for some reason it's always just seemed that way. Has it not? I'd love to say it was as simple as that because forgiveness is such an underrated tool and most of us kind of fail to utilize it. And I was, unfortunately, one of those people. I loved to just bottle everything in, and boy was I the type to go around and gossip about it to all of my friends. "I was the sneaky little snake who waited for the perfect time to get revenge", as my therapist once told me. Little did I know, this was not only bad for my mental health, but it was also wreaking havoc on my physical and spiritual well-being. I didn't know that forgiving someone can be one of the most simple and effective things that you do. And today, I want to share with you why, so let's get right into it!
