What if the very thing you're trying to change outside of yourself is actually showing you something about what's happening within?
We often think about our relationships with other people as mirrors, but what about our relationships with our animals?
In this episode of Aligned & Turned On with Nedjma, I'm joined by Victoria Sambleson, subconscious specialist, animal communicator, and creator of the Animal Turnaround Method, for a fascinating conversation about self-awareness, emotional patterns, and the unexpected teachers in our lives.
Victoria shares how her anxious, reactive dog Stanley became one of her greatest teachers. After years of trying to change his behavior, she began recognizing her own anxiety, emotional reactivity, and unconscious patterns reflected in him. And as she started doing the inner work, something unexpected happened: Stanley began changing too.
Together, we explore:
How our animals can become unexpected mirrors for our inner world.
What Stanley's anxiety and reactivity helped Victoria recognize about herself.
The connection Victoria sees between subconscious patterns, emotions, and animal behavior.
How hypnosis and inner work helped her shift her own reactions.
The Animal Turnaround Method and her approach to working with animals and their humans.
Why self-awareness and personal transformation are ongoing journeys rather than one-time breakthroughs.
From reactive dogs to a guinea pig pulling out its hair, Victoria shares some remarkable experiences that invite us to look at our relationships with animals through a different lens.
And while this conversation is about animals, it points toward something much bigger: What might change if, instead of focusing only on what's happening around you, you became curious about what those experiences might be revealing within you?
Because sometimes, the most unexpected relationships can become our greatest teachers.

Some conversations feel so uncomfortable that we'd rather avoid them altogether. But what if having them could actually set us free?
In this episode of Aligned & Turned On with Nedjma, I'm joined by Mary Jo, a licensed master social worker, family care specialist, and founder of Professional Family Care Management, for a deeply personal conversation about self-worth, compassion, and the freedom that can come from facing what we've been afraid to talk about.
Mary Jo shares how growing up with insecurities, navigating difficult relationships, and eventually recognizing her own worth transformed not only how she saw herself, but how she showed up for her children, her family, and the people she serves.
We explore:
How self-doubt and insecurity can shape the relationships we find ourselves in.
Why recognizing your worth is only the beginning, and how repetition helps create lasting change.
The power of pausing, setting aside assumptions, and approaching others with compassion.
Mary Jo's three C's: Content, Compassion, and Connection.
How facing conversations about death, including with her own parents, opened the door to greater peace and freedom.
Why sometimes we need to experience discomfort to become more comfortable with ourselves.
One of the most moving parts of our conversation is Mary Jo's story about her mother and the unexpected freedom that came from discussing something neither of them could avoid forever.
It's a beautiful reminder of how the work we do within ourselves can ripple into our relationships and change what's possible for the people around us.

What if your greatest gift is something the world doesn't even have a category for yet?
And what happens when you stop trying to fit who you are and what you do into what people already understand?
In this episode of Aligned & Turned On with Nedjma, I'm joined by Sunita Kumar, an alchemical business consultant and positioning strategist who brings together engineering, business strategy, intuition, astrology, Human Design, and what she calls the 5D.
We explore Sunita's unconventional journey, how she discovered gifts she didn't even know she had, and what it takes to recognize and own something that doesn't fit the usual mold.
We get into:
Discovering your unique gifts and learning to trust them
The intersection of intuition, science, and business strategy
How old identities can shape the choices we make about our future
The difference between conventional success and creating something that genuinely fulfills you
What becomes possible when you build your work around who you actually are
Whether you're an entrepreneur or simply someone who feels there's more of yourself waiting to be expressed, this conversation invites you to reconsider what makes you uniquely valuable and what it might mean to bring more of that into the world.

Are you trying so hard to be a good parent, partner, professional, helper, or human that somewhere along the way, you’ve lost yourself inside the role?
In this episode, I sit down with Dr. Melissa Franzen, counselor, educator, international speaker, and creator of the Abound Framework, to explore what she calls durable presence: the capacity to show up regulated, connected, intentional, and still authentically yourself.
Melissa shares the personal journey behind her work, from pursuing a dream she had carried since seventh grade, through marriage, divorce, single parenting a child with complex needs, earning her PhD, and eventually realizing that constantly fighting to meet every expectation was leaving her exhausted.
Our conversation moves into something I see all the time in my own work: how easily we can become the “good one,” trying to check every box and live up to what we believe a parent, professional, partner, or person is supposed to be.
And what happens when we turn the lens back toward ourselves?
We explore:
Why trying to meet everyone else’s expectations can disconnect you from yourself
The relationship between nervous system regulation and how you show up with other people
Why your own state can change the dynamic of an interaction
The difference between being regulated and performing regulation
What it means to know yourself before trying to find the “right” answer
How awareness can become another weapon against yourself if it isn’t held with kindness
Why curiosity may be one of the most powerful places to begin
This is a conversation about regulation, relationships, faith, self-awareness, and learning to show up for the roles that matter without disappearing inside them.

Why is it so hard to switch off when nobody is actually asking anything of you?
For Samantha Grider, being “the good girl” started as a way of navigating childhood. Take up less space. Be easy. Be mature for your age. Pay attention to what everyone else needs.
Eventually, that way of moving through the world became automatic.
In this conversation, Samantha and I explore what happened when she began questioning the life she thought she was supposed to live and learning to listen to herself again.
We talk about the difference between being alone and actually knowing yourself, why rest can feel like something that needs to be earned, and what Samantha calls inner mothering: creating enough safety within yourself to experiment, notice what you actually like and want, and try again.
We also explore:
How childhood interpretations can quietly become adult patterns
Constantly scanning other people instead of noticing yourself
The “mature for your age” identity and what can sit underneath it
What happens when you stop trusting your own signals
Inner mothering as a practice of self-relationship
Creating a gap between reaction and response
Using somatics, hypnosis, and NLP in real life, not just during dedicated practices
Noticing what is happening in your body as data rather than immediately turning it into a story
Moving from “I need to” toward greater choice
Why simple practices are not necessarily easy practices
This is a conversation about learning to come off duty, turn some of that attention back toward yourself, and create a life you are actually choosing while you are living it.

What changes when you stop hoping something will happen and begin moving through the world with certainty?
The Law of Assumption, most famously associated with Neville Goddard, teaches us to assume that what we desire is already true. Tony Robbins has also taught the power of cultivating certainty, not only through what we believe, but through the way we move, speak, act, and show up.
In this episode, I explore what I believe sits underneath both of these teachings, and why certainty can be such a powerful force in manifestation, personal transformation, and intentionally aligning with what we desire.
I also share a lesson from my early days as a Tony Robbins coach that fundamentally shifted how I showed up with my clients: “Own your freaking greatness.”
We explore:
The connection between Neville Goddard’s Law of Assumption and certainty
Why certainty is more than positive thinking or hoping for an outcome
How our internal state affects the way we behave, choose, relate, and enter a room
What changed when I learned to bring certainty into my own coaching
Why I prefer the language of alignment to simply attracting or manifesting
What “Own Your Greatness” means within my Aligned & Turned On work
Why your greatness cannot actually be proven by your accomplishments, success, money, appearance, approval, or anything else you can put on a list
And I’ll leave you with an invitation to consider something much bigger:
What if everything you can currently point to as evidence of your greatness is only a manifestation of it, rather than its source?
What might become possible if you moved through life knowing there is far more within you than you have manifested yet?

Self-awareness can change your life, but knowing yourself and actually changing are not the same thing.
As seekers, we can become fascinated with understanding ourselves. We explore our patterns, wounds, conditioning, personality, Human Design, astrology, spiritual teachings, coaching, readings, books, and anything else that might reveal another piece of who we are.
And there is real power in that. How can we change something we don’t even know is there?
But there are also traps.
In this episode, I explore why “know thyself” has been such an enduring spiritual and philosophical teaching, and what happens when our pursuit of self-knowledge stops leading to transformation and starts becoming another place to get stuck.
We’ll explore:
Why self-awareness and self-knowledge are necessary for real change
The difference between knowing something about yourself and actually transforming it
How the search for answers can quietly become a way of externalizing your power
The role coaches, teachers, spiritual guides, readings, and other tools can play without becoming the authority on you
Why recognizing a wound or pattern is only the beginning
What it means to come back to yourself and become the sovereign leader of your own life
I also introduce the first Power Portal of the Sovereign within my Sacred Undressing Journey: Know Yourself.
Because the goal isn’t to stop seeking, learning, healing, or allowing others to mirror things back to us. It’s to shine the light on what we couldn’t see, then use what we discover to make different choices, evolve, and become more fully who we are.
Know thyself, yes.
But don’t stop there.

What if the reason your manifestation isn’t working isn’t that you need to visualize harder, think more positively, or repeat more affirmations... but that an unconscious belief is pulling you in the opposite direction?
In this episode of Aligned & Turned On with Nedjma, I explore the role our unconscious beliefs play in manifestation, and why changing what you consciously want may not be enough if, underneath it all, you believe something very different.
I share a personal experience of uncovering the deeply rooted belief “it’s safer to be hidden” and shifting it to “I am seen. It’s safe to be seen.” What surprised me most wasn’t only the internal shift, it was watching a relationship I hadn’t even been trying to change transform as a result.
We explore:
Why unconscious beliefs can influence what you experience and what feels possible
Why visualization, positive thinking, and affirmations may not be enough on their own
The difference between feeling an affirmation and actually believing it
How childhood wounds, conditioning, identity, and beliefs can become invisible layers shaping your life
Why changing a core belief can create shifts in seemingly unrelated areas
Neville Goddard, manifestation, and the importance of feeling
Tony Robbins’ approach to incantations and repetition
How deeper inner work can support manifestation with less effort
The Sacred Undressing Journey and the process of removing the layers that obscure your truth
If you’ve been trying to manifest more money, success, love, purpose, connection, or another change in your life (and feel as though you’re somehow swimming upstream) this episode invites you to look beneath what you consciously want and ask:
What would I have to believe for my current reality to make sense?
Because sometimes the shift isn’t about trying harder to create a new reality. It’s about discovering what has been quietly shaping the one you already have.

Is being a seeker a waste of time?
Is there really value in asking the big questions: Who am I? What matters to me? What do I actually want? ... when there are meals to make, kids to pick up, work to finish, content to create, and a whole life demanding your attention?
A conversation with my mom got me thinking about the difference between managing your life and truly living it.
Because we can be incredibly busy, productive and “in action” while still moving through life according to conditioning, old wounds, expectations and a script we never consciously chose.
In this episode, I explore what The Matrix can teach us about the path of the Seeker, why inner work isn't a retreat from real life, and why slowing down long enough to question what's driving you may be one of the most practical things you can do.
We talk about:
the difference between being in action and actually being free
why slowing down can feel like a waste of time when you're stuck in managing mode
how conditioning and old wounds quietly shape our choices
the red-pill choice of looking beneath the surface and doing the inner work
why your liberation doesn't only change your life, it creates a ripple effect around you
what it means to move through life from your Truth and aliveness instead of demands, expectations and the hamster wheel
And I introduce the intention behind my Five-Pointed Star Path: becoming Aligned & Turned On. Aligned with your Truth and turned on by the aliveness of actually living your life.
So the question isn't only: Are you a seeker?
It's: How much are you actually prioritizing your seeking?

What happens when you know all the things… but you’re still struggling?
You know you could meditate. Journal. Do the breathwork. Call your coach. Work on your beliefs. Clear another layer. Manifest harder.
And yet somehow, all that knowing can become its own trap.
In this episode, I’m pulling back the curtain and taking myself through my own Five-Pointed Star Path in REAL TIME.
I started this recording feeling frustrated, discouraged, hard on myself, and very tempted to retreat into my cave. What emerged was an unexpectedly deep exploration of what I call the “Are We There Yet?” cycle: knowing what to do, judging ourselves for not being “there” yet, searching for the next quick fix… and ending up right back where we started.
Instead of trying to teach the framework perfectly, I decided to use it.
Along the way, I explore what happens when doing more has actually become your comfort zone, why slowing down can feel surprisingly unsafe, how easily we entangle our worth with our results, and what it means to stop outsourcing our power to all the things we think we should be doing.
I take you through all five points of the Five-Pointed Star Path:
Own Your Freaking Greatness → Reclaim & Be in Your Power → Undress the BS → Lead From Your Truth → Let Your Becoming Sparkle Even Brighter
This isn’t a polished demonstration with a neat little breakthrough waiting at the end. It’s me actually doing the work... with the resistance, realizations, laughter, discomfort, energy shifts, and unexpected connections that happen along the way.
If you’ve ever thought, “I know this already… so why am I still here?” this one is for you.
Maybe the goal was never to finally arrive.
Maybe the work is learning how to meet yourself, reclaim yourself, and keep becoming... again and again and again.
