Dick Metz (95 years Young) still sharp as a tack... Born and raised in Laguna Beach. Dick shares incredible stories of what life was like growing up in the 1930's, 40's & 50's in Laguna Beach. Mr. Metz is famously known as one of the last living Pioneers of surfing and the surf culture.  Joining us in the studio is Rich Yelland - another Laguna Local and an award winning film maker of many documentary films.  Four years ago, Richard and Dick got together and created one of the best surf documentary films I have ever... "The Birth of Endless Summer."  now nominated for an Emmy - highlights Dick's incredible life, traveling the world, in search of surf and adventure -  ultimately inspiring the making of the Legendary Surf Movie... "The Endless Summer"

Ryan is the founder of the underground music lable VOLCOM ENTERTAINMENT and was the Global Marketing Director for VOLCOM CLOTHING for many decades.


In this episode - we discuss the history of VOLCOM ENT. and the bands that graced the lable.
