As Believers, we can all succeed at work. But for us to succeed in the workplace, we must see our job as:

1.) A precious gift from God (not a punishment, or a chore)

2.) A gymnasium (that stretches and builds you up)

3.) A test of our faithfulness (first to God, and to our employer)

4.) An escalator (that is designed to take us to the top)

5.) A magnifier (that amplifier our value in the marketplace)

We have an obligation under God to manage our money well.

* But money is not everything.

* A good name is better than money.

* God's favour is better than money.

* Health is better than money.

* Riches and honour are rewards for people who honour and respect God.

* Poverty is not just a state, it is a demonic spirit.

* Wise people find creative ways to be producers, not just consumers.

* Don't just work for money, find ways to make your money work for you.

* Invest in education, businesses and intellectual property.

* Buy more assets and less liabilities.

* Create a smart budget.

* Cover yourself and your family against the ups and downs of life.

* God does not give us wealth, He gives us the power to get wealth.

Wealth is like a combination lock, once you know the combination, you are in. Isaiah 48:17… Thus, says the LORD, your Redeemer, The Holy One of Israel: "I am the LORD your God, Who teaches you to profit, Who leads you by the way you should go. Jer. 29:11… For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope… 2 Cor. 8:9… For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich.

1. God is interested in how you handle your money. Will you increase the value of the money you have or will you waste it?

2. The way you treat money is the way you treat everything else in life. This is why Jesus said “He who is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much...” Luke 16:10.

3. God is disappointed when we fail to increase the value of what he has given us.

4. If you are not faithful with money, God reserves the right to take it away from you and give it to someone else.
