Lauras first dream is a precognitive dream. She knows she is tasked to write about a tragic/traumatic event (think mass shooting)
She has conflicting feelings about her writings. Part of her wanted to be there to help comfort the grieving survivors and another part of her was glad she was not in harms way. She had the feeling of being assigned to writing about this event.
The dream switches scenes and Laura finds herself walking through the forest path with her two daughters she happens upon a sign that reads "dead end"
Still accompanied by her daughters, she notices a train heading towards her. She had no time to get out of the way so she lays down between the tracks as she knew she would not be hit as long as she was lying down as flat as possible and remained still that the train would go straight over her.
As the train passed over her a visual of her daughter sitting on an open air train cart signaling that her daughter was not harmed by the train. After the train passed Laura joined her daughter and they sat in safety and enjoyed their ride.
After waking from her dream she had a feeling without a shadow of a doubt that her father was going to pass away.
Laura told her family about the dream but they assured her that her father was completely fine.
She had her dream and told her family about it December 3rd.
A few weeks after the dream he was diagnosed With stage 4 cancer.
Her father then passed away on Feburay 8th
