• Roku (ROKU) - Shares closed Wednesday's session up 9% following a Business Insider report "Inside Roku, Talk Is Heating up About an Acquisition by Netflix." A KeyBanc analyst Thursday morning downplayed the report and noted, among other things, Netflix (NFLX) management's sentiment in the recent past to be highly focused on content -- something Roku does not have exposure to.
• Zendesk (ZEN) - The company announced the completion of a strategic review period. Zendesk will remain as an independent company moving forward. Shares were down about 4% on the news.
• Spotify (SPOT) - KeyBanc analyst Justin Patterson was bullish on margins for Spotify's music segment moving forward. The commentary follows Spotify's recent Investor Day. Patterson reiterated the equivalent of a buy rating on Spotify; the analyst has a $210 price target on the stock.
• Applied UV (AUVI) - One of Thursday morning's biggest winners. A company distribution partner won a contract to be the sole provider of the Airocide air purification system.
• Senti Bio (SNTI) - A closed special purpose acquisition corporation (SPAC) deal. The company will begin trade on Thursday. Senti Bio describes itself as "building a synthetic biology platform that may enable us to program next-generation cell and gene therapies with what we refer to as Gene Circuits." The company has several pre-clinical candidates focused on cancer.
