So from UK in the Episode 12, I made a virtual trip back to India for recording a very special episode. An episode that surely has gotta be one of my favorites! It's really amazing that I'm finally able to do this, because on this episode, I spoke about Women's Football for the 1st time ever on my Podcast with none other than the very special & amazing Radha Lath Gupta! So continuing my virtual trip in UK from Episode 11, for episode 12, I got to sit with Football Author & writer, Karan Tejwani who is well known for his book on The RedBull Football group's Project, "Wings Of Change". He is also one of the authors to write the book, "Iberia Chronicles" & is also the Co-host of the "Team Geist Podcast". I was really fortunate to sit with him for about an hour & 40 mins & discuss various topics about his Journey getting into writing as a whole & writing the book & it's Journey. Firstly, a Happy New Year of 2021, I'm back with Around The World after an unintended yet unavoidable break. So from the United States in Episode 8, I took a virtual trip to Syria in Episode 9 to talk about one of Europe's biggest fallen giants, AC Milan with Menez who's a very big fan of the club. We spoke about the club's most glorious period during the start of the century & went on talk about how it all started to falling apart. This was an insight into Milan's downfall from the perspective of one of their own fans & I enjoyed recording it while comparing the contrasts to how outsiders see their downfall as. We also spoke about the managers, the board, the youth setup, transfers, the infamous scandal, the Milan rivalry & a lots more which pretty much summed up every aspect that we could've possibly covered on AC Milan. So after a considerable amount of time, I finally completed my Podcast with Football Writer Kaustubh Pandey who's featured in well renowned European outlets. So in this episode I took a trip to Delhi (India) to talk about his journey of getting into journalism / writing, the story of an article making to an outlet, Use of Analytics & data in modern day football and we spoke a load of things about the top 4 teams of the top 5 European leagues of the 2019/20 season. It was a real pleasure to have him on and hopefully I can get him on sometime again for talking on another topic. I truly enjoyed this one and surely this was one of my most high profile podcast interviews till date!
