We fulfill a lot of different roles in our lives, professional and personal. Employee, boss, spouse, parent, child, sibling, cousin, aunt. When roles shift the world can feel off-kilter. So when we enter into a committed relationship and become part of a couple, it’s no wonder there’s an adjustment period. We need to reexamine who we are as individuals and as an individual as a partner in a relationship.
