What causes a band to reach success? Your fan base. When you don't have a fan base and you're playing shows, it can be discouraging. Makes you want to quit, but don't give up. Ask yourself these questions:

• Have you played a show?
• Are you relying on someone else to promote your shows?
• Are you socializing with fans?
• Is your stage show enough?
• Are you networking?
