After a long hiatus - five months no less - we return to discuss our take on the NBA/NFL and the English football coaching landscape, posing the question - how would it look if a Premier League manager coached a NBA or NFL franchise and visa versa.

Notable discussion points were Pep Guardiola at Chicago Bulls or how he'd handle the Russell Westbrook trade to LA Lakers? How about Erik Spoelstra at Valencia or Manchester United for that matter.

The conversation then transferred to beginning of the new Premier League season 2022/23. Will Tottenham or Chelsea challenge the top two, how will Arsenal and United fare? And could any other club challenge the top six?

What have we got around the corner for this episode? Well as you might guess in the intro we’ve got Jesse back on the pod to talk about some F1. Series 3 is well underway after our Super Bowl 56 preview in our last episode and what a game that was. We’re still getting over the fact that our guest David Cartlidge guessed both the final score and the Super Bowl MVP correctly, Rams 23-20, Cooper Kupp MVP…if you don’t believe us then go and listen to the ep! Nevertheless, what about this episode in particular? Well for this one its just me and Charlie and we’re each picking what we call a disrespected XI, this is football-related and the aim is to shoutout some players that we feel get nowhere near the credit that they deserve. With Man Utd and Arsenal locking horns this Thursday, we thought we’d delve into that rivalry and bask in the nostalgia of some memories of that fixture in the years that have gone by. Joining us for this one we have some good friends and fans of each of these clubs in the form of Kano who takes his position in the All Ball hotseat for the first time and also Gift who’s been on a couple of times before (you might have heard him on some of the NBA episodes that we’ve done in the recent past).
