As NCAA basketball is right around the corner, Matt talks with Henry Chisholm from DNVR Buffs to breakdown the top storylines from the CU Buffs men's basketball team as they play their first exhibition game tonight against the Colorado School of Mines. The two tackle the question of who will be the top scorer for the Buffs, how will Tad Boyle manage this young team, and what are the expectations for CU this season?

Matt is joined by Josh Coleman, the Sports Director for 91.3 KMSA to once again revisit the landscape of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference as Western Colorado, Colorado Mesa and Colorado School of Mines are fighting for the top spot in the conference standings. WIth a big matchup coming up this weekend between Western and CMU, is it only appropriate to preview the matchup and discuss who will end up at the conference champ in three weeks time when the season comes to an end.

This win has the potential to be more than just a win over a winless football team. Head Coach Karl Dorrell says his team is taking ownership of their mistakes and are growing as a team. Can CU get back-to-back wins for the first time this season when they take on Cal this weekend? 

Matt is joined by Zac Stevens from DNVR Broncos to talk about the busy news week surrounding the Denver Broncos. The two dive into the matchup against the Raiders and how the HC change for Las Vegas affects Sunday's game. Also the comments made this week from Vic Fangio about the lackluster Denver offense and the recent roster moves George Paton has made.

The Mountain West Conference continues to get more interesting after the CSU Rams downed the defending conference champs, San Jose State, at Canvas Stadium on Saturday. Steve Addazio's team continues to get better as the weeks progress, but will this equate to more wins? The Falcons of the United State Air Force Academy improved to 4-1 this last week after a dominating 38-10 win over New Mexico. AF racked up over 400 yards on the ground and currently lead the nation in rushing. Matt is joined by the play-by-play man for the Air Force football Jim Arthur from KVOR in Colorado Springs. They breakdown the state of the Mountain West Conference and how Air Force can approach the rest of the season after a hot start. 

Quick little Friday rundown of the three biggest Colorado sports heading into the weekend. The Broncos are trying to remain undefeated as Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens come into town on Sunday, the Nuggets resigned the third member of their Big Three, Michael Porter Jr. to a five-year deal, and the CU Buffaloes will try to beat USC for the first time in program history on Saturday.
