Governor Gavin Newsom ended speculation last night that he would make a run for the White House, at least in the short term, by endorsing Vice President Kamala Harris.

Harris' historic presidential campaign could break barriers, as she seeks to become the first Black and Asian American woman to lead a major party ticket.

Speculation is already underway as to who Vice President Harris would choose as her running mate, assuming she wins the Democratic nomination.
