They might even figure out where baby showers come from, and where the name originates.
Jake Dooley was born and raised in Taunton, MA but has since moved to southern California for the skating scene. Anthony Shetler gets his thoughts on the New England Am Contest, and why skateboarding in California is different due to the pro skater rich environment. Anthony dives into the everyday life of Jake Dooley, including his personal and professional life.

In this episode Anthony Shetler talks to Andrew Furtado. Tim Bric, and Ramsey returns to the show with a special announcement. Andrew Furtado does improv on the regular and went the way of Jereme Rogers by starting his very own rap career. The group discusses Anthony Shetler also being a recent guest of Andrew Furtado’s hilarious online show, the “Now Streaming Podcast”
Andrew Furtado’s podcast is all about Netflix! Andrew Furtado’s has many discussions about what is on the online channel, what’s leaving, what you might have missed, they play trivia games, have special guests, and much more. The “Now Streaming Podcast” even has games similar to Doug Benson's podcast “Doug Loves Movies”.
Andrew grew up in Rhode Island, and made the move to the west coast, where he interned for the comedic juggernaut, Funny Or Die and was in a Wiz Khalifa video and was paid to say the “N word”. Andrew Furtados tells us about a few of the differences between the two coasts, dabbing, dancing with Will Ferrell at a christmas party, being flow trash, why cable is for idiots, and many stories that will leave you laughing hysterically.

In this episode of The Shetler Show, Anthony Shetler catches up with Rod James. Rod started skating with his twin brother and older brother, and has been skating for over 20 years now. Rod James tells Anthony why he didn’t take to traditional sports, but fell in love with skating. Rod and his brother were especially into art work, and loved seeing the skate deck graphics.
After moving to Cali, Rod James (who thought he was always gonna rep east coast only) started working in the skate industry. Rod goes into exactly why he was “feeling it” in Cali, and why he decided to stay out there. Anthony Shetler and Rod James describe why skateboarders can connect with each other all over the world, simply by noticing that the other person has a skateboard.
Rod James with works with several brands in skateboarding, and actively looks for ways to help the skateboarding industry. Rod encourages those in the skate industry to start their OWN brands, especially pro skaters. They talk about what it means to own your own skateboard brand, on the job training, and how there is “no rule book” when it comes to having your own skateboarding company. Anthony Shetler and Rod James talk to the skate industry directly, and give their own experience with giving back to the skate scene they love.
