My guest today is Jeremy Hutchins, show runner and executive producer with about two decades of experience in production. Jeremy has been a senior producer for entertainment tv shows such as BET’s 106 & Park, After Trek- Post Show for Star Trek and The View. Other network credits include Bravo, CBS, MTV, TvOne to name a few. From discovering his intrigue in the behind- the- scenes working of television at an early age, to getting his first opportunity  as a showrunner, Jeremy shares how he landed some of his major tv projects and what it takes to make entertainment tv.

My guest today is Justin Fornal, a self-made tv personality and content creator, international explorer and guerrilla filmmaker.  Justin is a renaissance man who is best known for his shows on food, travel and exploration. Justin has gone from playing the local- turned- national eccentric character, Baron Ambrosia for Food Network’s Cooking Channel to uncovering hidden treasuries and ancient mysteries on Discovery’s Science Channel. His penchant for guerrilla filmmaking and being extremely diligent and unafraid to create his own lane , has garnered him an Emmy award, feature articles and network success.

My guest today is Desiree Taveras, an associate producer who’s been in tv production for over ten years. Some of her network credits include VH1, Bravo, CBS, Comedy Central to name a few. From internships to landing her first network job with one of the most iconic reality talk shows, Desiree Taveras shares how she used her past experiences from previous jobs to interview and land new gigs as a freelance AP and why the age old saying, "it's not what you know, it's who you know,” has helped shape her career.

Production has come to a halt as we're waiting out the worst of the COVID-19 pandemic. We're all trying to stay encouraged and maintain our sanity during these tough times. And while social media is telling us we need to take advantage of our time by finding new ways to achieve success, we also need to be ok with doing nothing and resting as well. It's a double- edge sword with no right or wrong approach. But we can take care of ourselves and set goals as well.
