This series will address questions such as: What is the most
difficult challenge to having a conversation on race? What can
we do about it? What is the Holy Spirit calling us to do and to
be in this present moment regarding race relations in
America? And other questions that relate to the process of
having authentic and productive conversations on race that
will be raised by the participants in the sessions.
Some of the tools used during these sessions will be
portions of relevant videos which address the subject, short
group exercises that help to facilitate conversation and that
can be replicated in other settings by those who participate.
The main focus of these sessions is to assist participants in
developing better tools for engaging in meaningful and
courageous conversations on race in an effort to help God
realize God's dream for us to become a Beloved Community.
A place where we are truly striving to see the face of God in
one another.
