Before his conversion, the apostle Paul was passionate about what he believed, but was very misguided. What became important for Paul, and what is important for us today, was what Paul was going to do when he met Jesus for the first time. Would he be humble enough to receive Him? [Speaker: Barry]

When we live faithfully, humbly, selflessly, and sincerely we don't have to say a word about who we are, people will see it. As we continue to surrender to God, faith, love and grace will transform our lives and reflect who He is in all we do. [Speaker: Barry]

God's word encourages us to speak well, speak life and speak the things that will help and build others, even when they choose not to speak it to us. Be the one that represents Christ to those around you in whatever situation you are in.

We may have many accomplishments in life but what are the things that matter to God? Let us be people who can live in humility, kindness and compassion and who know how to love abundantly. To not get angry and give place to the devil or rob others of what is theirs. Practice and apply, by God's grace, these things that make you who God wants you to be. [Speaker: Barry]

God has given us everything necessary and the power of His spirit to live the new life and not return to our old ways. In particular, He can free us from lying and anger when He works from the inside out to transform us. [Speaker: Barry]

Jesus didn't teach us to listen to the majority and follow the world, but to listen to His truth. Today, if we choose to believe, God is able to take us from what we were and make us into who He purposed for us to be. God can tear up the script that we've been following and give us a new life. We can come so close to Jesus yet still not know Him. To know Him is to leave everything, even our own lives, and not continue to seek our own selfish ways. If you hear His voice and respond, you will discover a life much greater than the life you now live and Jesus is not afar off - He will show Himself strong in your life. [Speaker: Harb]

We are called to believe in Jesus but the stone that was rolled away when He rose again can stand between us and God if we do not believe. We can never push that stone away in our own strength but if we choose to believe, God is faithful to give us His peace and joy in this life and the promise of knowing eternity. [Speaker: Barry]

We may have once lived like the world in the futility of our minds but as Christians we are free and no longer need to live or think the way everybody else does.  We are called to put off our old ways and put on Christ so that He influences our every interaction and decision and we live in a way that glorifies Him. The love of one anther as Christians sets us apart from the world. The one who is able to put Jesus in the place of themselves, lay down their life for others, and comfortably wash one another's feet is the one who knows how to walk in unity. [Speaker: Barry]
