We begin the last section in our longrunning series on the Wisdom Literature with an introduction to the Song of Songs. We discuss our interprative approach, how the Song of Songs fits into the rest of the Wisdom Literature, why we see it as "Solomonic" but not necessarily *about* Solomon, and some tips for getting the most out of Song of Songs.

Part 6 of our summer series on the Lord's Prayer

We conclude our special series on the Prayer Book's Civil Prayers in honor of the 250th anniversary of our Nation's founding. Today we talk about the civil prayers in the Great Litany and Holy Communion. We also talk about the two Civil Holidays in the 1928 BCP: Thanksgiving Day and Independence Day. Finally, we conclude with a discussion of the frequency of Holy Communion.
