In his television address on Wednesday, Gov. Mike DeWine begged Ohioans to do the right thing, wear a mask and physically distance themselves from others in public. On Sunday, DeWine said “ a lot more counties ” could soon end up under mask orders. In an interview on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” DeWine said he is still considering a statewide mask mandate.

This episode originally aired on May 20, 2020. In April, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported a first, unemployment numbers for women hit double digits. Women make up two-thirds of part-time workers and the majority of the low-wage workforce. For women of color, the news is even grimmer.
