The Ohio Republican Party on Friday censured former chair Matt Borges for forming a super-PAC designed to defeat President Trump in November. The GOP stripped Borges of his chairman emeritus role. This isn’t the first time Borges has clashed with his party and the president.

The U.S. Supreme Court ruled Monday that existing federal workplace discrimination laws extend to gay and transgender employees. Neil Gorsuch, widely considered one of the more conservative justices on the Supreme Court, authored the landmark 6-3 decision, which affirms the prohibition against discrimination “because of sex” in Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 includes LGBTQ workers.
