In today's episode of "Jesus, You Take Over!", I will be speaking about All Souls' Day.

All Souls’ Day is celebrated each year on November 2nd. It is a special day when Catholics pray for the souls of the faithful departed, especially those in Purgatory who are being purified before entering Heaven. It’s a time to remember our loved ones who have died, to offer Masses, prayers, and sacrifices for them, and to reflect on the hope of eternal life in Christ. The day reminds us of the communion of saints that the Church on earth, in Heaven, and in Purgatory are all united in God’s love.

Eternal Father, I offer Thee the most Precious Blood of Thy Divine Son, Jesus, in union with the Masses said throughout the world today, for all the holy souls in Purgatory, for sinners everywhere, for sinners in the universal Church, those in my own home, and within my family. Amen.

Eternal Rest Prayer

Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May they rest in peace. Amen.

Closing Prayer for the Holy Souls in Purgatory & the Faithful Departed

Heavenly Father, You are full of mercy and compassion. Today, we lift up to You all the holy souls in purgatory, especially those who have no one to remember them. Through the Precious Blood of Jesus, purify them of every stain of sin. May the fire of Your love heal and sanctify them, and may they soon rejoice in the vision of Your glory.
 Grant eternal rest to the faithful departed, O Lord. May their souls, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
 Mary, Mother of Mercy, pray for them.
 Saint Joseph, patron of a happy death, intercede for them.
 All holy angels and saints, guide them to eternal joy. Amen.
