The table is set, and you’re invited! In this talk, Elizabeth looks at the call of Jesus to come as we are to feast at his table. She looks at how we come and how we get to prepare for others to come too. What did this look like for the early church in Acts and what does it look like for us today?

As we continue our Acts series, Seb opened up Acts 27 and explored what it's like to hear God's voice, and how this gift still stands for us today. Sharing from both the Scriptures and his personal experiences of hearing God, he invites us to grow in hearing God’s voice in our daily lives. 

Helen looks at the day of Pentecost, exploring who the Holy Spirit is and how we can be baptised in the Spirit receiving God’s gifts, power, and love to help ourselves and others! 

Acts 17:22-31 reveals that God doesn’t dwell in temples made by hands, but in us. This talk explores what it means to be living temples of God’s presence, and challenges us to live fully aware of our divine purpose as vessels of God’s Spirit.

This week, Lou starts our new teaching series on the book of Acts. We look at how the Ascension of Jesus shapes our encounter of God’s presence as a church, and our longing to see his kingdom in our world.

This week, Raph Arthur (Mile End service) looks at what it means for us to "lose our life" in order to experience God’s abundant life, as we follow the way of Jesus. Teaching from Mark 8, we see that fullness of life with Jesus is distinct and different from many narratives of the "good life" we absorb today, and is infinitely richer and worthwhile for us to pursue and surrender to.

Shaninga (Stockwell service) explores the importance of community as God’s design and heart for his people. Drawing from Genesis, Hebrews, and Acts, we see how embracing intentional connection reflects God’s love and strengthens us in our faith. The Bible reminds us that living in community brings healing, growth, and purpose. As we step into 2025, we’re challenged to commit to building relationships that honor God and transform lives.

For our first Sunday of 2025, Nicole continues on from her previous talk on John 21, this time focusing on the concept of 'follow' - an invitation to a long term commitment of following Jesus as disciples.

This week, Sam (Sutton service) begins our new series in the books of Acts. We explore how the Ascension of Jesus shapes the way we encounter God’s presence today, and engage with his mission in the world.

Helen concludes our ‘Walking with God’ series by looking at our destination as followers of Jesus. Looking at the book of Revelation, we see how knowing where we’re heading in the future helps change our lives and journey in the present.
