It happened out of the blue., one minute Mary Uraco was at work and feeling great, and the next minute she started feeling like she had the flu. Only it wasn't the flu, it was something way worse. Something that won't any better. Something that caused her to lose her job, the way she socialized and cost her the ability to eat. It's called gastoparesis and it is a rare disorder that has totally changed her life.

For many, this kind of diagnosis would mean the beginning of the end. But for Mary, its just a new beginning that has opened up a whole new way of life for her, and a new way to make a living, but helping others.
