Our guest today is notoriously known as the “Master of Sponsors” for reliably getting college events funded. In fact it was then that he realized that he had a knack for connecting brands to people. I first interacted with him when he was just starting out managing this Tech YouTuber and a couple of other vloggers. It was interesting to learn his commitment and interest in managing and recognizing YouTubers as talent and over the years we worked on several campaigns and have exchanged many conversations about the world of Influencers. Around the same time we met, he co-founded an Influencer marketing agency to make this venture of his official and has not looked back since. Please welcome Neel Gogia, Co-founder, IPLIX Media.

The global pandemic has severely affected two industries this year – Tourism and Publishing. And those who have a finger in both pie’s, well I feel for them, it must be tough right now. While most people are staying safe and well mostly at home, I’m sure at some point they’re also wondering when can they travel again. Specially internationally. And those in the publishing space are probably wondering when can they start creating new content or whats the way forward for them specially if they’re in print. Joining me today is Natascha Shah to discuss Travel, tourism and the state of publications in India. She’s someone I have adored and admired since I was in school and she also happens to run a very successful travel magazine – Trip the life Fantastic (TLF), while being an avid traveler herself!

Joining me today on Vartalap is Digital Consultant, Technology journalist & Podcast host of The String - Abhishek Baxi, where we’re going to be discussing the situation with print media and journalists in the country. Having recently joined Neowin as a senior editor, he will continue to be a contributor at The Morning Context & columnist at Hindustan Times, with previously written for Forbes, Gizmodo, AndroidAuthority, Windows Central, Android Central, TechRadar, BGR, ZDNet, and Mint, he’s also the founder/editor of The Podcast Hub, an online publication about podcasts and podcasting, which is how we first connected!
With everything going digital especially now, its been tough for print to not just stay relevant but also feasible. It’s sad but how is it looked upon from a journalist’s POV? Is print really dying? Or is this temporary and maybe we’ll see them bounce back after COVID?
