Reddi Supply resident Scratche throws down some funky, anthemic breaks with a bit of an electro flavour on this killer mix disc. Heavy on the drum-machine as opposed to the sam-pled- live-drummer sound, this mix is evenly paced from beginning to end. The future-retro sounds of DJ Neutron’s “Street People” had me doing the electric boogaloo around my kitchen. The latter two-thirds of the mix takes on a more accelerated, tech-break feel with tracks from the Plump DJs, Soul of Man, Baby Anne, Simply Jeff and DJ 43. Definitely a progressive listening experience.
