All Things Giant, w/ Jake, Jordan, Ginge DJ & Ryan

With the play-offs being round the corner, we are bringing you the latest episode of All Things Giant looking at how the last 10 games have gone, what fixtures we've got left, potential play-off match-ups, new player additions and new owners as well as a special guest - Manchester Giants Head Coach, Vince Macauley.

It has been a few months, some great wins, some tough losses - so we thought let's get together and film a pod sharing our thoughts on how the season has gone so far, how we started 2023 and how we are looking to finish off this season.

A few of the All Things Giant team caught up with Tajh Green last week. Tajh is a high-flying, first year pro, who won the HBCU All-Star Game MVP last year!

Just a few days removed from his highlight alley-oop dunk, we asked Tajh what it was like growing up hooping in the US, what role can HBCU’s play in developing hoopers so we see more Tajh Green’s in the BBL and even the NBA and of course, we asked him if that dunk is his best or is there more to come…

Massive thanks to Tajh for giving up his time. His energy on and off the court is infectious, you can feel it during the interview and this is his first pro season. He is only going to get better!

The first of many player podcast's this season sees Jordan & Ryan speak to former BBL Defensive Team member, William Lee join the pod.

Already making an impact with the fans in the game vs the US Select at Platt Fields, Will averaged 66% from 2 and was a near double-double over the season in his last BBL stint with the Leicester Riders, including a 19 point, 9 rebound, 2 assist and 2 block game against our very own Manchester Giants that saw him shoot a mind-blowing 77/100/100.

Make him feel welcome, drop us a comment, follow, like, subscribe and all that good stuff!

Who do you want us to interview next?

The All Things Giant team were lucky enough to grab our new Coach, Vince Macalauy, court side at Platt Fields a few weeks ago.

We were able to ask him what interested him about coming up North to Manchester, how the roster is shaping up for this upcoming season and much more.

A huge thanks to @mcrgiants & Coach Macaulay for taking the time to do this interview - hopefully, the first of many!

*Note*

The audio quality on this, isn't the greatest. We managed to grab coach at the beginning of a busy 2nd night of trials at Platt Fields and were sat court side as the players warmed up. We are hoping to have a proper sit down with Coach (and others!) as soon as we can!

In this weeks episode, we look back at last season and the success of the Manchester Giants, discuss the new direction and signings of the club and introduce 2 new faces to the All Things Giant family!
