In this episode I talk about 'Your Voice Represents You'. Our voice is a tool given to us to help us communicate with the world. It is a medium through which we express our thoughts and our innermost feelings. Our voice represents us as individuals in a planet packed with over 7 Billion people. This is why I believe that each of our voices is powerful in their own right. No one can match your voice and it's therefore very important to understand the unique ability you have as an individual is in your voice. It's said, "Bad things continue to happen because good people remain silent". What we need to do is raise up our voice when we see injustice. We need to raise up our voice when see good so that people can also be aware of it. We need to raise our voice to demonstrate the God given abilities each and everyone one of us have as individuals. We need to raise our voice to let the world know what product or service we are offering to the world. If you look at the many ways our voice represents us, then we shall also to understand the power there is in our voice. Today I urge each and everyone of us to remain powerful through the power that has been vested on our voices. That we shall speak. We shall shall use it effectively to make the communities we live in better. It doesn't matter whether someone else is doing the same thing that you are doing. What your audience connects with is your voice. Because it carries the weight of you and trust me you are an amazing ball of energy which everyone is willing to connect with at a deeper level. September is Career Development Month. On this episode I have a chat with Carolyn Kariuki - Lead Recruiter at Gap Recruitment. This conversation covers pain point elements for job seekers more so those seeking entry level positions. In this episode Carolyn takes us through the end to end recruitment process i.e. from how to prepare a good CV, how to prepare for an interview, how to show up in an interview and last but not least how to do your follow up once the official interview is done. For most job seekers it is a pain making several applications without getting a call from a prospective employer and that is why it is important to charm your prospective employer with a good application. Any applicant who has taken the time to go through the job description and has aligned himself or herself according to the requirements of the employer is likely to bag an interview. But it is even more important to prepare for the physical interview as much as it is to prepare for the application for that job. How you show up and present yourself to your would be employer matters as this is the impression you create about yourself. On this episode I talk about identifying your Uniqueness. See, all of us were born with certain abilities that are meant to help us live a life of purpose. A life that is impactful. However, some struggle to pick out what their uniqueness is even though they live it daily. In order to make an impact we need to live conciously. By doing so, we are able to make deliberate decisions and deliberate moves along the journey of living in purpose. Our family and friends play an important role in helping us navigate through this journey and it's therefore important to have genuine authentic relationships that push us along this path of identifying our uniqueness to help us live in the purpose which God intended for us. On this particular episode I talk about the ways in which we all can identify our uniqueness - which is our true authentic self, and how we should use this Uniqueness to develop our identity which is what people relate with. I believe this shall be of benefit to you as it has to me and may it help you seek the path that makes you stand out.

We all have an assigned purpose here on Earth. And the most fulfilling part about life is being able to walk within our purpose. It's no wonder we are all in a search for self. Who are we? And what were we placed on earth to do? All this are life long questions that we seek everyday as we journey through life. On this episode I talk about how our Uniqueness drives us to our place of purpose. You see when we are able to identify our Uniqueness we are also able to know who we are and our self identity is established. Once we establish our identity then other people are able to relate with us from the point of how our identity synchronizes with them. We become more relatable, more authentic and as a result establish ourselves as leaders in the various fields we operate in. For me the single most fulfilling assignment of every human being should be identifying their uniqueness. Once this is done then the rest flows as we keep grounded to who we are and nurture the God given talents that we posses.

Welcome to the All Things Life podcast where we live, learn and grow. I started this podcast series to offer a platform that talks about life. The different facets of it and how we can live a life of freedom, peace and tranquility as we seek to grow and nurture one another. As part of this series I shall have solo episodes as well as guests who are thought leaders on the subject matter being discussed. I believe we all have a voice and we should use our voice to speak for us. Our voice represents us. It should quiet any other voice that speaks contrary to the truth that we stand for. Our voice should precede us and the impact of our voice needs to be heard in the generations to come. As I start this journey I intend to use the power of my voice to discuss life transforming subjects that will make us better. In this intro I discuss why I started podcasting, the motivation of it and what I intend this podcasts to achieve.
