Thanksgiving is a time come together and enjoy a great meal surrounded by those you love. Unfortunately, there are people out there that can't afford a Thanksgiving dinner and have to choose between paying bills or getting a turkey. Thanks to Pastor Victor, he is doing his part in the community to change that. 

The 2017 Gobble Wobble Walkathon starts today as Pastor Victor will walk 50 miles over a three day period to raise money for Thanksgiving baskets for those in need. Pastor Victor joined Artimis just before hitting the trail to talk about how the Gobble Wobble started, his trials and tribulations, and those in need can receive a Thanksgiving basket.

Footprints Of Michigan is an organization that distrubites shoes to those in need. From Veterans, to those struggling to afford work shoes, to the homeless, Footprints Of Michigan is there to help get shoes and work boots for those in need. Geronimo stopped by the i92 studio along with Becca and David to talk about getting gently used shoes, inspecting them, and donating them back to the community.

You can also join Footprints of Michigan and CSL Plasma as they are hosting a Food Truck Rally for the whole Lansing community to participate in during the week of October 23 rd -27 th from 11am – 7pm. The event will also feature tables with companies, organizations, schools and non-profits in the Lansing area.
