Hiya Listeners 😀

I'm so delighted to have Georg Boehme (on Sax) joining Tim Elliot and I on Telecaster and Upright Grand Piano respectively, for our new Improvised Collaboration of 'Under The Waves'. 😊

With the Three of us involved now, the track is re-named as 'WithUnder The Waves'

as it brings to mind What Drifts With and Under the Currents beneath the Oceans, Lakes , Rivers and Streams of our amazing planet.

May it bring to consciousness an aspect of the tonal flow that moves in harmony with what lives within it. 😉

Time to change up my flow, Listeners. 😉

I realize I've only been posting Ambient-Jazz Improvisations with my friend and guitarist Tim Elliot for the past few months, so now it's time for one of my Ambient Solo Piano Improvs.

So here's my latest exploration of the sound and flow my Kawai ES7 Electric Concert Piano gives me access to. And while there is always something that folks feel is worth complaining about or being offended by... as usual, my focus is on 'the Beauty' in this Life!

It's a Moonrise over Denmark, with Crepuscular Moon Rays radiating into the evening sky.

Tim and I continue our musical conversations and the kind of tonal quantum entanglement we delight in. Just letting the changes come in the flow of the music. Listening deeply and letting whatever will emerge, to do so harmonically and gracefully. Kinda like conscious living itself. 😉

Another Improvisation from from the First Light Session with Tim Elliot on Telecaster and myself on his Upright Grand Piano.

The musical conversation is very low-key, and almost subconscious.

No driving rhythms... in fact, a kind of stasis or balance pervades the piece and it remains right in the moment. Let's call it a musical 'Gyre', as is it's namesake, the Sargasso Sea. 😉

This was originally a Solo Jazz Piano Piece of mine from years ago.

A month ago I offered Georg the opportunity to lay some Baritone Sax on it, and thankfully, he accepted and sent several stems. Working with all of them, i molded their essences into this Arrangement and got very very close to what i had imagined.

It speaks on many levels, but now... in this new version...

Imagine what possessed early humans when they searched the skies, felt the Call... and began the greatest journey in history; the move Out of Africa!

So set back... don't expect anything...

and enJoy 😎
