Simple and Sweet
Sometimes it's the simple pleasures in life that bring us the most happiness, which Cathy Tully shows in "All You Need Is Love". Two people are thrown together by man's best friend, and the love that they develop for this dog, Little Man, is the catalyst for their own relationship. A sweet and endearing read. Hope to see more books from this author!
A sweet read, especially for dog lovers!
"All You Need is Love" is not typically my type of book; I'm not one for romance novels. But I gave it a shot, and it's not what I thought. It's a sweet read, and perfect for any dog lover.
Five Stars
GREAT READ
There's potential but it just didn't develop

What first caught my attention about the blurb of this book was that it reminded me a little of the movie âYouâve Got Mailâ. Remember that one? Meg Ryan loses her family bookstore thanks to the mega bookstore that swoops in to town run by Tom Hanks. âAll You Need is Loveâ has a lot of the same elements.
Caitlyn (in the blurb itâs spelled with a âKâ and in the book itâs spelled with a âCâ) goes to Massachusetts to take care of her ailing grandmother and takes a part time job as a dog walker. Sheâs recovering for several upsets in her life â namely the loss of her familyâs beloved cafe and a breakup with a boyfriend.
Enter Jack DeVane. He is the workaholic stereotype that we all have seen before and his main problem is that heâs got a stray dog that he doesnât want or have time for.
Now, these two have their âcute meetâ but beyond that this story if fairly predictable and at times tedious and boring. Between the too often used descriptions of the dog getting sick/peeing/pooping and the length of time it takes our hero and heroine to actually admit to any kind of attraction, I found myself losing interest.
It was a cute story that had a lot of potential but the author just never seemed to let any scenes develop. They get rushed and way too much focus is on the dog. Iâm all for the cute pet bringing people together but most readers want to see whatâs going on with the humans and how that relationship is building â not what the dog is doing.
Interesting Read
The benefits of having a pet, especially a dog, is widely known, and workaholic Jack DeVane is about to find that out. His beliefs, values and in the end, his life, will be changed due to one dog. Not just because of the dog, though. It will be changed because Caitlyn Stiles entered his life.
