The Kids Summer Festival is on Saturday June 11, 2022 from 12 noon – 6 pm at the Ali Ghan Shrine Cumberland Maryland Picnic grounds. There will be superheroes, food, arts and crafts vendors, entertainment, direct sales vendors, games and more. Something for everyone one. With a very special grand prize for 2 very lucky kids. With all proceeds raised from this events going to Shriners Hospitals for Children. Shriners Hospitals for Children provides specialty care to children up to age 18 with orthopedic conditions, spinal cord injuries or burns regardless of the families ability to pay. Savage Mountain Punk Arts is pleased to announce it’s fourth annual Savage Mountain Punk Picnic, Saturday May 7 from 12:30-8:00 at the Preston Amphitheater at Hoffman Hollow Park in Frostburg. Featuring 8 regional punk bands competing for slots at the annual Savage Mountain Punk Festival as well as food trucks, arts and music vendors, a beer tent, and a special play are for kids. Tickets are $10 in advance at Eventbrite, $15 at the gate and children under 12 are free. Join the Cumberland YMCA, UPMC Western Maryland and Aetna Better Health of Maryland for an afternoon of health and wellness information, guest speakers, vendors and a fashion show. All activities are free of charge!

Exhibits include nutrition, blood pressure checks, BMI, heart health, stroke and sepsis, stress management, lung health, local community resources, diabetes screening, make and take art booth, photo booth and more!
