The alleged hostage situation at Gold One Mine in Springs, Johannesburg has entered its fifth day, today. More than 400 mine workers have been underground since last week. This is the workers second sit-in in three months at the mine. The miners want colleagues who were dismissed as a result of the first sit-in to be reinstated.
