Today I finally took another trip back to the land of musicals in an effort to find something for me with In the Heights. Was this trip to Washington Heights the gateway into songs and dance or am I forever lost without beat? You've gotta listen to find out.

Today I fired up the ol Disney+ and watched the new Pixar movie Luca. It's a fish out of water story-Literally. Also WHY CANT I WATCH THIS IN A THEATER DISNEY?!?!?

Today I watched a movie about a band I didn't know existed until yesterday despite how they clearly inspired so much of my favorite songs. Today I think you should too. You know those movies that get made entirely on the charisma of the two leads? And then that works and so they make a sequel with even more talented people that don't have the same chemistry or charisma of the first two people and since they sunk almost all of their budget into the cast everything somehow looks cheaper than the first one? Yeah that's this movie.

Be very very quiet I'm hunting aliens. Also I'm watching A Quiet Place 2 which is just as much of an engrossing sound experience as the first.

You know what movie I wish was dead? This one.

Today I decided to jump at the opportunity to watch one of my favorite movies in the theater for the first time and go see 1986's Top Gun in AMC's Dolby theater. This is me talking about that experience.
