Allen Jackson Ministries: Radio Broadcast

Pastor Allen reveals the profound truth that God is far more interested in people than most people are in God. God continues to invite us towards himself, yet we often have a flippant attitude towards Him. There is no explanation in scripture for God's deep care of people. Yet, throughout the Bible, God has a persistent, unrelenting concern for the well-being of humanity. In this sermon, we learn that from Genesis to Revelation, God deeply cares about people.

Pastor Allen explores how God is faithfully bringing into completion His covenant with Abraham. God is regathering the Jewish people to Israel and restoring His Church. Today, Israel is truly a land of abundance bursting with life and security in the midst of their enemies. Yet, they too struggle with obedience for the Lord – just like we do. It is through Jesus Christ we can receive the blessing given to Abraham and become part of the fulfillment and redemption of all humanity.

Will you be a person who lays aside the world to be a difference maker for the Lord? Pastor Allen explains, there will be a persistent resistance when using your life to do the will of God. But through this kind of "resistance training" we can learn, grow, change and overcome- able to stand in the gap for the people of our generation and do the will of God.

Pastor Allen suggest that we are supposed to be difference makers that stand in the gap for this generation. Inviting us to imagine, that just as Jesus recruited Saul of Tarsus, He is still recruiting people to take a stand for the advancement of the Kingdom in this age. We are called to be more than church goers, but to stand in the gap for the purposes of the Kingdom with a conviction that would make us willing to face hardship and sacrifice.

Pastor Allen suggests, just like in Ezekiel, God is still looking for individuals who will stand before Him in the gap on behalf of the land. The eyes of the Lord are still searching the earth, recruiting people for His purposes and strengthening those whose hearts are fully committed to Him. This episode encourages you to be delivered from futility, become established in the midst of the Lord's purposes, and stand in the gap as a difference maker for this season in time.

The Bible says the return of the King of Kings will catch many people off guard. Pastor Allen asks the question, "What kind of people aught we to be when He gets here?". This episode encourages us to not let the great efforts of our lives be for things that are temporary. It also lays out what we'll need to let passions of our life be for the purposes of the Lord.

We can't see the outcome as we are making our own choices, but God sees what we can't - the end at the beginning. With Him, we can arrive at a future far greater than we could have navigated towards on our own. Pastor Allen suggests that when you and I refuse to follow the Lord, we are betting our lives on a future we can't see. This episode features four prayers that invite the Lord's restoration, wisdom, and guidance; through the power of the Holy Spirit.

We are seeing the greatest expressions of ungodliness and evil that our world has ever known. In the midst of this, God is regathering the Jewish people; and collecting and purifying His Church. Pastor Allen makes a connection to Jesus' parable in Matthew 13 about wheat and weeds growing together until the end harvest, when the harvesters (or angels) will separate the two at the end of the age. Thank God, He is in the business of restoring us – both great and small.

We live in a season of American Christianity where it's become popular to suggest it doesn't matter if you chose Jesus, Buddha or Allah – suggesting that every path ends the same. Pastor Allen discusses how some Christians have developed a reluctance to stand up for the uniqueness of Jesus. Though it's the responsibility of Christ followers, as His Church, to advocate for His Kingdom. This episode encourages us to hold on to our liberties and freedoms by finding our voice for biblical world views.
