In high school and even college some of us were designated a Career Counselor that recommended various careers we could go into based off of our school records. But what if in addition to Career Counselors we had the option of speaking to an Entrepreneur Counselor?
Speaking to an Entrepreneur Counselor could shift so many things for budding small business owners, however, at the moment employees work their way up the corporate ladder, end up hating their job and or boss before they decide a 9-5 isn’t for them.
This episode explores the spectrum of employee to business owner which is broken down into 4 categories:
If you’ve ever felt like there’s something more than your daily 9-5 grind then this episode might be worth exploring to see which category you fall into :-) And if you don’t know which category you fall into there’s a link below to 2-minute “9-5 or Build Your Own Business Quiz” that will help you figure out which category aligns with you the most.

Working alone can be tough, especially when you’re stuck on a problem or challenge that prevents you from taking the next step in your business.
One of those challenges can be trying to get out of your business so it can actually grow and scale. And what this comes down to is how we structure our business model.
To help us shift our mindset on how we approach our business models, I interviewed Rocky Buckley.
Rocky Buckley an entrepreneur, coach, consultant, and the creator of the Platinum Path mastermind, where he and his faculty of experts help thought leaders, authors, speakers, consultants, and coaches reinvent their expertise and shift into a high-priced, lifestyle-friendly business model.
He is also the creator of the Power Persona framework, a unique "inside-out" strategy for personal branding and positioning as a public figure.
While the focus of our show hits on personal brands, you can take the nuggets you learn on the show and shift them into whatever business you’re working in.

I know I can get frazzled when I don’t have a proper workflow down for things I do repeatedly in my business.
A workflow consists of an orchestrated and repeatable pattern of activity (like a newsletter, blog, podcast, social posts…these are thing that you might do repeatedly in your business), enabled by the systematic organization of resources into processes (System could be a PM system like Monday.com or Asana or you could use an Excel Sheet to organize your resources AKA you or a Virtual Assistant plus time, you got manage your resource of time into a process…like a step by step guide to get that entire task done) that transform materials, provide services, or process information (AKA your products or services/offerings).
In this episode, I provide you with 3 examples of my workflows that I have for my podcast, newsletter, and social posts.
As you listen to this episode, I want you to think about projects and tasks where you can create a dedicated workflow to make your business more efficient!
Happy listening!

I really love the dreaming aspect of creativity. Meaning, I LOVE to create what could be possible for whatever project I’m working on. It’s a very sexy space to be in because ANYTHING is possible and nothing is too crazy or too big.
But did you know that there is an entire process to creativity and the possibility part of creativity comes much later in the process?
In this episode, I interview Mari Reisberg, and she LOVES the process of creativity.
She teaches us what creativity is, how to hone it, and how to get more of it, especially when you really need it!
Mari Reisberg, is a therapist, performer, creativity coach, and host of the Sustaining Creativity Podcast. She holds a BFA in Acting from the Hartt School and an MA in Somatic Counseling Psychology, Dance/Movement Therapy, from Naropa University.
Mari is what we here at Cutclass like to call a double agent because, she currently splits time between the traditional 9-5 world as the director of utilization review and internship programming for a substance abuse treatment centre, and her own Sustaining Creativity business where she works with performers and non-performers to spark, grow, sustain, share and transform creativity in their lives. Mari believes life is way more fun when we tap into our creativity!
I know you’ll dig this episode because a lot of creativity goes into starting and running a small business. From dreaming up your concept to then executing it every single day. But somewhere along your business journey, your creativity will run dry or can be super tough to execute – dive into this episode now to get some tips to put you out of your next creativity rut!
