"Real men do not have fear"; a common lie in our culture. This seminar explores the role of fear in our lives, both healthy and appropriate fears as well as unhealthy and destructive, dysfunctional and un-Godly fears. Such questions as "should I be afraid," "what do I do with this fear" and "where is God in this story" will be explored. Practical steps to address fear will be offered.
God desires us to know Him and for us to share ourselves with Him. He calls us His sons; He seeks relationship with us. This seminar explores some perspectives on how we can develop and grow intimacy in our relationship with Him.
If we're being honest, too many of us Christians have one foot in the world and one foot following Jesus. We're on the fence. But God calls us to be decisive; to "go big or go home" in our Christian journey.
Two of the healthier practices you can cultivate in your walk with the Lord are: meditation and singing. The Psalms exhort us to engage in those. But how and why?
Meditation
1. The Definition
2. The Method
3. The Timing
4. The Results
Singing
1. Created to Sing
2. Commanded to Sing
3. Compelled to Sing
