Many people identify as Christians, yet struggle to explain what saving faith truly looks like. In Luke 7, Jesus gives us a vivid picture of saving faith through a forgiven sinner, a self-assured Pharisee, and an unpayable debt. Join us as we explore the burden of sin, the relief of forgiveness, and the love that inevitably follows when grace is real.

Three aspects to saving faith...
1) The burden of sin
2) The relief of forgiveness
3) The outpouring of love

Text: Luke 7:36-50

People respond to Jesus in very different ways—some with honest questions, some with deep gratitude, and others with stubborn resistance. In Luke 7:18–35, we see how John the Baptist, everyday believers, and hardened skeptics each react to the same Christ. Join us as we explore these responses and ask the personal question: How am I responding to Jesus today?

Three distinct postures before Jesus...
1) Perplexity
2) Greatness
3) Unbelief

Text: Luke 7:18-35

Sometimes we have a hard time understanding the reason behind God's justice. However, what it reveals is that we have a distorted view of sin, man, and God himself. Nahum is helpful for us here as we see a clearer picture of the character of God. As we wrap up this series may you come away with a greater appreciation of Christ!

God's judgment:
1) Why is it happening?
2) What does it entail?

Text: Nahum 3

This Christmas, we’re asking a simple question: if you met Jesus in the grocery store, would you have an interest in him? At first glance, Jesus might seem like someone you could pass by without a second thought. But the more you discover about who he is and what he’s done, the more impossible it becomes to ignore him. Come discover why his extraordinary nature and breathtaking accomplishments make him worthy of your deepest devotion.

Christmas is about Jesus. He’s the main character of the story.
1) Jesus' extraordinary nature
2) Jesus' spectacular accomplishments
3) The response it calls for

Text: Hebrews 1:1-6

When it comes to words that we all associate with Christmas, joy is likely the first one on the list. You didn’t have to grow up in a Christian home to have the word “joy” in your yard or on your favorite mug. But, despite it being talked about a lot at Christmas, can’t joy seem to be elusive or a struggle compounded with a sense of pressure to be "joyful?" So if you're willing to admit some struggles with joy this season, then join us to unpack this theme from the Bible and see what it really is and how to cultivate it!

Great joy comes from our humility to celebrate God’s mercy.

Joy:
- as a deep, settled contentedness.
- as an inward delight
Happiness:
- as an outward expression of delight

Text: Luke 1:46-56

Everyone longs for “peace on earth” at Christmastime, but few stop to ask what kind of peace the angels actually announced. In Luke 2, the message isn’t sentiment, serenity, or political calm—it’s something far deeper and far more urgent: peace with God himself. Join us as we explore the Christmas gift that changes everything: “God and sinners reconciled.”

1) Peace on earth: what it isn’t
2) Peace on earth: what it is

Text: Luke 2:8-14, Romans 5:1

What we stand in awe of subtly shapes the way we live. We are attracted to awesome things. Revelation 1:9-20 lifts our eyes to the glory of Christ which is meant to reorder our lives. Join us as we explore how a bigger vision of Jesus leads to a deeper, steadier obedience.

1) The picture of Jesus
2) The proper response to him

Text: Revelation 1:9-20

Why would God have a book that just describes his wrath and judgment on his enemies in so much detail? Why spend 3 chapters explaining this so thoroughly? Isn't just one enough? God had a purpose in this for his people back then, and for us today, as we are reminded that everything written in the Old Testament is for our instruction on whom the end of the ages has come (1 Corinthians 10:11). So, what exactly is God's purpose? Join us and find out!

1) The destruction of God's enemies
2) The restoration of God's people

Text: Nahum 2
