Salem sis :) Today's episode is regarding the most frequent conversations I have been having this week. How I have been observing the most common feelings we are all sharing. What we feel and how we are dealing with it. Where is your pain? Where is your resistance? We have to find them first, relieve and release it, to then have our breakthroughs. We have to confront it and take baby steps to change it. As muslims, we also need to maintain our clarity and enforce our boundaries to live the most aligned life to our deen (religion). This episode will most likely be followed by my idea for the, "art of confrontation," podcast episode.

Salem sis :) I feel less chaotic this week now that I am back in Michigan and working on organizing after so many shoots and meet ups. Although, I did find myself pushing a lot and not feeling centered. Have you felt the same lately? I realized whenever I get in this state, I feel like I try to control everything, and push for things to happen. That is when I feel the furthest from Allah. Now I intend to recenter and make duaa (pray) to feel reconnected to Allah and the peace I feel from my Lord. It is a blazing red flag every time I feel this way because it is a clear signal to turn back to my rabb (Lord). I hope you enjoy this casual episode sis!

One step further, I mentioned if you're building a business, brand or you're an influencer, audit your intentions for your posts. Do they align with your values as a muslim woman? Are you sharing too much that you regret sharing? Are you keeping things up on your page that don't align with you anymore? Hand RAISED and I did this until AS OF LATE. I'm right there with you! Salem sis! Today I opened up about a sensitive topic for me, the Ramadan burnout I just experienced... It felt heavy to experience alone so my intention for this episode is to share my struggles for any other sisters out there struggling through the same thing. We are not alone, and we are in this together. I never want you to feel alone. Islam is a mountain of knowledge, and we need to take small steps every day towards it to learn it sustainably, a slow burn... Allah loves small acts consistently performed. Inshallah.
