The wait is over! Rudy is back with a new season of footy chat. He is joined by his good mate Alon, who you might remember from episode 2 of the 2024 season.

In this very special episode of The Footy Conversion, (12-year-old) Rudy and his uncle Alan interview the one and only Tom Mitchell. Tom is a present day star of the game, having won a Brownlow medal in his time at Hawthorn, before crossing to Collingwood and becoming a cornerstone of their 2023 Premiership.

Tom was kind enough to jump on the phone and face a hard-hitting Footy Conversion-style interrogation. Before and after the interview Rudy and Alan discuss the ins and outs of the final round of 2024, contemplating a (formerly inconceivable) Hawks surge to the 2024 flag.

When not strapping on his boots, Tom Mitchell hosts his hugely popular Ball Magnets podcast:

This week Rudy is joined by his dad, Nadav, as well as Blues Footy podcaster, Harrison Hymans. Rudy, Harrison and Nadav delve into the bitter old rivalry between the Blues and Pies, before covering the highs and lows of round 21.

In episode 11 of the Footy Conversion, (12 year-old) Rudy and Uncle Alan are joined by Rudy's famous 10 year-old sister, Adeline. What Addy lacks in football knowledge, she makes up for in raw charisma and an unparalleled ability to wing it, as they tackle the highs and lows from Round 20.

Listen out for the very first Footy Conversion appearance of Eli-bear himself. Fresh from his nightly bath, we ask the little man the pivotal question: Pies or Hawks?

After a two week New Zealand holiday/bye, 12 year-old Rudy and Uncle Alan are back with a vengeance. And this week they're joined by Rudy's friend (and bomber supporter) Hayden. Together they discuss the precarious state of the Pies and Hawks' seasons, before waxing lyrical about everything from ice cream to Sheezel to Hayden's local football career. Stay tuned til the end for some banter about Rudy's life, antics and harrowing encounters with the young women of Melbourne.

After a massive Sunday night on the town, a dog-tired Rudy still had much to say about Round 14. He and Uncle Alan discuss the Pies' wild comeback win over the hapless Roos, as well as the seemingly indomitable Hawks' march towards September. Can they make the finals? Is Nick Daicos history's greatest man? Should Rudy's sister be invited on the show? When will the podcast end and bedtime begin?

This week, 12 year-old Rudy and his Uncle Alan are joined by Andy, the host and creator of the famed, long-running Demonland podcast and website.

Rudes, Andy and Uncle Alan discuss family legacies and the geneses of their respective Pies, Dees and Hawks support, all the while trying to tilt the ledger of Lil Eli’s football future. Then Rudy and Andy get into the thick of Round 13’s King’s Birthday match. Can the Dees resurrect their game plan, or is the era officially in decline?

12 year-old Rudy and his Uncle Alan review the highs and lows of round 12. The Hawks juggernaut rolls on and an undermanned Pies falter against the Bontempelli-inspired Dogs. Later in the episode, Rudy fields audience questions, before he's forced to take some highly creative evasive action, after Uncle Alan grills him about non-football related matters.

In this mini, special clip, Rudy interviews former Collingwood midfielder, Brayden Sier, who racked up possessions in the Pies 2018 Grand Final appearance.

With Uncle Alan on the injury list (head cold), 12 year-old Rudy is joined instead by his old man, Nadav, as well a very special guest: Les, a.k.a. The Godfather. Back in the day, Les convinced Rudy's grandfather to go for the Pies. Now decades later, Rudy, Nadav and Les get into the thick of it, bantering about all things AFL. Stay tuned to hear Rudy and Les go mano a mano in the weekly commentating segment.
